Spikes and Skulls

Hi! I've been so lazy recently. I was just sleeping and eating all day. Haha. I also did my nails but I didn't have the 'strength' to write a post. Anyway, no more lazy days for me. :)

For my base, I used OPI Vesper from the Bond Girls Collection. This one is actually part of the mini set. I bought the set since I know I won't be able to finish a whole bottle. In fact, I've never finished a whole bottle of polish. Vesper is a deep purple polish with black glitters. It dries to a textured finish.

I, then, stamped it with an image from MoYou London Explorer 08.

The silver spikes are from Born Pretty Store. I love these studs but I don't think they are good for everyday wear. For parties and photo shoots, these studs would really fit the goth theme. You can use the coupon code BRH10 when you check out to get 10% off your total amount.

As you can see, I filed down my nails. :) I think I like them this short. But I'm so fickle-minded. I might change my mind tomorrow. Haha.

I'd like to share a random thing while I was taking this photo. I usually take my nail shots in RAW format. When I plugged in the memory card into the laptop, I found out that I took it in JPEG. :( It's so difficult to post-process when it's on JPEG format. I couldn't retake the photos because I already removed my nail art. Ohhh. Unlucky me. :(

Anyway, I hope you liked this nail art. :)
See you on my next post!

Studs used are sponsored.

  1. This is so edgy especially with the skull stamping and spikes. Oh I know what you mean about taking the wrong pictures. Today, I took pictures for an unboxing and after I took them, did I realize that my camera was in the wrong picture setting. So, I'll have to re-take them again another day, lol.

    1. I really hate how the photos turned out. :( Oh well. We should learn from our mistakes. :D

  2. I honestly have no idea how to use RAW but I should probably learn haha... I love the way this mani comes together! I really like stamping over texture polishes too but I find the stamping rubs off because there's no top coat over it... Did you have that issue too? Any tips? :)

    1. Hi! Thank you for your comment! :) Stamping adds accent to textured polish, right? But I think that's a downside. No top coat so it comes off easily. :( Maybe it's really not meant to last that long.

  4. Vesper is a beautiful polish *__*
I never finish a bottle too, except for black/white and sometimes nude polishes but I'm still so greedy that I buy the full size bottles >////< Shame on me!
The spikes are really not for everyday usage but I love spikes so much! With the skull it looks really rockish, love it Breena!! <3
