If it's not already obvious, I love MoYou London stamping plates. Last month, they told me that they are going to send 5 plates for me to review. I was so thrilled! When I finally got the package, I was surprised that they did not only send 5 plates. They sent me a nail art stamping set with 5 nail plates, 3 polishes and 1 stamper-scraper set. What an awesome nail mail! :)
Anyway, before I show you the items, let me give you a brief background about them:
MoYou London is a London-based company that specializes in stamping plates. They have a wide variety of plates with different themes. They also released new stamping polishes that would go really well with stamping. They also have stampers and scrapers, and just recently, they released squishy marshmallow ones!
They should NOT be confused with MoYou nails which is totally different company. They used to be one company but they decided to part ways.
Their stamping nail art set comes in boxes like this. Although it says 'Artist', the plates inside are not exclusively from the said collection. The box is sturdy and well-made. It can hold 5 plates, 3 polishes and a stamper set. This box is just really beautiful and I definitely won't be throwing it away. Haha. I already made it into a jewelry box.
This is what it looks like inside. The box is really pretty. I like companies who put this much effort into their products.
These are the plates that I chose: Explorer 25, Artist 14, Kaleidoscope 03, Tropical 08 and Pro 15. All the plates stamp really well. If you noticed in my previous posts, I have used some of these plates for my nail arts. For the rest, I have only stamped them on fake nails for practice designs. I have no problem with etching and transferring of the images on to the stamper.
They also sent me 3 regular polishes. They came in individual boxes with gold and white. The boxes are thick enough to protect them from breaking. Application is smooth and consistency is good that one coat is actually good enough. However, I still prefer 2 coats.
The shades they sent me are: Baby Blue, Metallic Blue, and Midnight Green. They only thing I didn't like about these polishes is the lack of names. The polishes didn't have labels on them. I had to check their website to check for their names. I do hope they will fix that. :)
Now, for the stamper. It's not marshmallow squishy but it still is squishy. I was actually surprised because I thought it was the firm kind. I already found myself using this one a lot whenever I use white for stamping. It needs a little buffing before it can stamp properly. After that, the image transfers really well. I'll do a separate review for this next time.
They have also released their squishy stampers recently. I've already added that to my cart for my next purchase. :)
As of the moment I own 36 plates, and 10 are coming their way. I can definitely attest to the quality of their plates. My favorite collections would be: Pro, Princess and Explorer. These are like my go-to plates.
Here are some of the nail arts I have done using the nail plates they have sent me:
Expect to see more of these plates in my upcoming posts. :)
That's it for this post! Thank you for reading!
