Butterflies

Just a quick post!

This is my entry to MoYou London's Challenge Day 28 (Butterflies). I used MoYou London Princess 10 and Fairytale 1. For my base, I used two different colors of nail polish and a stippling brush. Yes, stippling brush for the face. Haha. I then topped it with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

The Desolation of Smaug inspired nail art

Hi. I have an awesome nail art for you today. It it inspired by the dragon (Smaug) in the second part of The Hobbit Trilogy. This nail art is actually my entry for MoYou London's May Challenge Day 25 (Movie).

For my base, I used Bench Paintbox in Beet Red. I stamped it with MoYou London Suki 07 (dragon) and Fairytale 04 (pattern).

Ice/Fire

I forgot to post this the other day. Or I'm just not proud of it. I really had difficulty with this theme. Ice and fire in one nail art? -_- I only have a fire image so I just tweaked it a bit. I used MoYou London Fairytale 03.

Typography

I really had a difficult time thinking what I should do with today's MoYou Challenge theme - typography. I found it difficult because I don't have any plates that have words in them. All of them have patterns and cartoonish images. While I was browsing my image plates, I saw that MoYou London Pro 04 had some indecipherable words. Hence, I thought it would pass the 'Typography' theme.

Flowers

There are only 9 days left until MoYou London's May challenge ends. I've only done a few themes so I'll try to make a nail art for the remaining themes. Today's theme is flowers. I've wanted to try the leadlighting technique since its introduction. Sadly, my OPI sheer tints are not with me. I left them in Manila, and I'd go back there around June. I'm just dying to try it out so I used my OMG neon polishes, and I am happy to say that they worked beautifully! Plus, they are very cheap (Php 20).

Masquerade

I have a pretty classy nail art for you today. This is my entry for MoYou London's challenge Day 21 with the theme, fashion. At first, I wanted to make a lace design but I don't own any MoYou plate with that design. I checked all my plates to see what I design I could come up with.

I saw my MoYou London Explorer 13, and I thought I'd make a masquerade ball nail art. The gold flames are from MoYou London Fairytale 03.

Flowers and Pinstripes + Tutorial

My nail art for today is inspired by The Nailasaurus. I love everything about this nail art except for the leaves. -_- Since I didn't bring my whole nail polish collection home, I have a lack of supplies. I also thought I forgot to bring my green acrylic paint. But just when I was about to finish my nail art with Seche Vite Dry fast TC, I saw my green acrylic. Boo! What a troll. Haha. So, please excuse my pale looking leaves. :(

Sci-fi

Hey. Here's my entry for MoYou London's May Challenge Day 19. The theme is sci-fi. I have two plates from their sci-fi collection. The images were all creatures and spaceships, and there were no patterns. :( I still have to order their sci-fi plate with the patterns.

For this nail art, I used 3 thick coats of Bobbie Supernova for my base. I, then, stamped it with different images from MoYou London Sci-Fi 03

Waiting for that love letter

I really find it difficult to follow challenges. I've been skipping a lot of themes in the MoYou London May challenge. Haha. Good thing, it's not required to do all challenges. Their day 15 theme is LOVE.

I first painted my nails with Barry M neon pink. Using a cut out foam, I sponged a combination of Barry M neon pink and Bobbie Grass Skirt. The connected hearts image is from MoYou London Princess 10.

Game of Thrones Inspired nail art

Hi! I am very excited to show my nail art. I am in love with it. I didn't expect it to turn out exactly the way I wanted it to be.

I am a great a fan of Game of Thrones (the TV series, I have yet to read the book). The story line is very unique, and I really like the fact that the author is not afraid to kill a character. A lot of my favorite characters are already dead, but life moves on. Haha. I just learn to love another character.

Of all the houses, I am a loyal to House Stark. But, it is a series of unfortunate events for the Starks since the first season. I was so sad when the Red Wedding happened. Ughh. Robb Stark. :( Oh well, my heart now belongs to Jon Snow. Haha. The image on my middle finger is the sigil of House Stark - a direwolf.

I used OPI L.A.M.B as base, then painted black over the nail stencils. I topped it with Seche vite Dry Fast TC.

Castle Skyline

I find skyline nail arts very difficult to make. The colors for the gradients must really blend with each other. I'm not sure if I like how this turned out but I'm still posting it.

I used China Glaze Aqua Baby and Jocarste Black as the gradient base. I stamped it with MoYou London Fairytale 02.

Gradient Geometric

Hi. Here is my entry for today's MoYou London Challenge. The theme is "Geometric". I decided to use two different stamping polishes to create a gradient effect.

For my base, I used Orly Purple Crush. For the stamping polishes, I used Mundo de Unas' tulip, avocado, orange, orchid, aqua, turquoise, yellow and spring green. I am in love with these polishes. They stamp so good. I really need to get more colors.

I then finished it with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

Superhero

Hi! I have some good news for you. MoYou London is having a giveaway for the month of May! Three winners will win 6 image plates and some stamping polishes. Awesome, right? I decided to join their May challenge. I'm really hoping to win! I know May already started but they said in their rules that you don't have to make all the nail art challenges.

Today, their theme is "Superhero". You know how superheroes always punch and kick the bad guys? Well, this nail art is somehow inspired by that.

New designs!

I have made new designs for my nail stencils. My machine has been doing all the hard work for me. Haha.

I have already shipped these designs to those who have ordered them. I am so happy that there are people who are interested in buying my products. Yay! :)

Half moon
Lightning bolt
Single chevron 1mm

Single chevron 2mm

Straight 1mm

Right now, I am doing a quatrefoil design. I have a successful cut with it but I am still thinking if I should sell it or not. :)

That's it for this quick post. Thanks for reading!

Abstract

Hi. Remember when I told you that I am joining a nail art challenge for this month? Well, today, the challenge is "Abstract". Since I just received my Mundo de Unas stamping polishes, I decided to give them a try.

I stamped my index finger and pinky with MoYou London Pro 02. The designs on my middle and ring finger were made using my very own stencils. :) I'll show you some photos later in this post.

The Amazing Spiderman Inspired Nail Art

Last Saturday, my boyfriend and I watched The Amazing Spider-man 2.  I loved it! The ending, the effects, the story line - everything was in its rightful place. I admit that I cried so hard with the surprise ending but it was the only way. If you haven't seen it yet, you should! The movie industry has improved a lot especially with the graphics. Plus, Andrew Garfield is love. Haha!

I did my nails the night before watching the movie. Using my very own chevron stencils, I created a Spider-man inspired nail art. The colors used are based on his costume. I also stamped a spider image on my ring finger. I used a random plate that was given to me.

Tutorial: Violet Beauregarde Inspired Nail Art

Hi! I have a nail art tutorial for you today. One of my readers e-mailed me an asked me to make a step by step tutorial of Violet Beauregarde's dress from the original Willy Wonka. I hope she'll like this tutorial. :)

This is the finished nail art. The next photos will show you how to recreate this design. :)

Colored Flowers

Hi! My nail art group in Facebook is having a nail art challenge for the month of May. I decided to give it a try. I'm really hoping I could finish this challenge. Haha.

For today, the challenge is "Flowers". I did a stamping decal using FUN 5. At first, I wanted to give it a little twist but my little twist ended up destroying the whole mani. Haha. Good thing I was able to take photos before that disaster.
